If the present Church is questioned that whose gospel are they preaching the
immediate answer we get- it is ‘The Gospel of Christ’. Then whose Gospel
did Jesus Christ preach in reality? Was it his own Gospel ? or ‘The Gospel of
God’? Therefore observe the following verse what is the answer of Jesus to this
question.
Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee,
preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God. And saying,
the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand;
repent ye, and believe the gospel.1 -Mark 1:14-15
If we observe the preaching of the present christians , it becomes evident that
the miracles of Jesus and his person are being preached to make people believe
that Jesus is God. What is the Gospel teachings in reality? The gospel focusses
on the Greatness of God Almigty and revolve around the teachings as how one
should have faith on God and that what one should do to get the kingdom of God.
This is the message which Jesus had given us. And now let us see some important
points in the above verse.
1.‘The Time is fulfilled’ means almost all the time, which has been given to the man is completed. Because death may come at any time and not only this ,but also the inner meaning of the above words convey to mean that this world is going to be perished. Taking into consideration the ephemeral life that one has been allotted with, it becomes essential on one’s ownself that how immediate and serious attention that one should pay towards guarding one self from committing sin and of promoting the habit of performing righteous deeds.
2.‘The Kingdom of God is at hand’ -here the kingdom of God is figuratively applied to peace-delightfulness and love-sacrifice and victory-prospirity.This is to mean as saying that Jesus proclaims clearly to join one’s hands with him in worshipping the God, taking his ideal way of turning, which he introduced them, following of which is known as the Kingdom of God. And the third point is that if you want this fortune to be your lot just you have to changeyour way of living and beliefs according to scriptures but not your names or your culture. You should change your negative tendency and develop positive tendency in accordance with the teachings of prophets. This is the essence of the above verse of Jesus.
Now let us see some other teachings such as the above.

good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
- Matthew 5:16

and all these things shall be added unto you.
-Matthew 6:31-33

Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters:

and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asketh

whom if his son ask bread, will will he give him a stone?
Or if he ask a fish will he give him a serpent? If, ye then
being evil, know hoe to give good gifts unto your childrens,
how much more shall your Father which is in heavengive
good things to them that ask him. -Matthew 7:7-11
In the above exhortations, which Jesus spoke with his holy lips, there are
some important points to be considered. In all of them we can not find any verse
to have been spoken not mentioning the name of God. In addition to above, we
have number of verses in the Bible such as these. And let us observe the following...
1. Jesus taught that one should have devotion and fear of God Almighty only in our every act, but did not suggest to fear him (Jesus), nor to be devotees of himself.
2. He taught clearly that the Father, who is God Almighty , is not upon the earth, but is in the heaven. He did not teach that God had descended on the earth taking his (Jesus) form.
3. He introduced about himself as a ‘Master’ in the sense of a leader. In this way he disclosed the fact that he was not God.
4. He declared crystal clearly “Not every one that saith unto me Lord, Lord (in the sense of God), shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my father, which is in heaven”.
5. He condemned outright the words of those that praised him.
6. He emphasized on the fact that only one Creator is Greater than all.
7. He ordered clearly ‘Pray to thy Father’ but there is no atleast one verse in all his teachings saying as ‘Pray me’.
8. He explained clearly “only the Almighty God hears your prayer and he shall reward you”, but he never preached that he (Jesus) would reward them.
9. And says that a true believer should not worry about the eating and wearing. A nd at the same time he reminds of his vital responsibility that he should seek for God’s righteousness and his kingdom. It means he should obey the rules and commandments of God and strive to establish the righteous way of living by his ideal life in the society. Further, Jesus taught “ you shall get all these things, which you need such as eating and wearing”, ...This is ‘the Gospel of God !’ which Jesus preached.
