If one wants to attain the kingdom of God Should get repentance Shou
ld turn towards God Not only in the times of meditation and prayer but always
one should have a firm belief that one’s God is very near to oneself, who is
observing all his deeds whether they be good or evil and one must fear God who
will judge one’s deeds If you lead your life in righteous way, you can attain the
everlasting life If you lead your life in immorality you will attain the eternal hell.
The enarmous preachings of these points were influenced on the people’s way of
living and their actions. And promoted in them the special characteristic features
such as fearing of sins and devotional attitude was developed. Immorality was
thus rooted out and automatically morality took deep roots in them. Thereby a
cruel person was also changed rapidly as a righteous person.
WHAT ARE THE THINGS THAT DIVERTED THE PEOPLE
FROM THE RIGHT PATH SHOWN BY JESUS ?
According to the present preachings of the Church that if one wants to attain
the eternal life one should believe Jesus. What is that belief ? That is one should
believe that Jesus offered his life on cross as ransom for our sins. Therefore one
must convert his religion, name and appearance and dress code and take
Baptism- it is enough . But this type of propagation misleads the people straying
away from the right path.
For Example : According to this type of propagation people get different
types of opinions such as - Jesus had died as ransom of our sins and as we are
believing him staunchly even if we commit any kind of sin there is no problem and
even if we have a lot of sins they will all be pardoned for us. And the belief of the
Church is that man is born with original sin, so sinning is quite natural and as we
have believed in the forgiving God (Jesus), in case any kind of sin is committed it
will be pardoned by him. As a result of such various presumptive beliefs, as
mentioned, they are made fearless of God and deprived from following Jesus’
teachings. This resulted in the spread of disunity, disquietness, iniquity and immorality.
False preachings are in more progression than the real preaching of the
Gospel teachings. Were there the real preaching of Gospel, in tact as had been
preached by Jesus the present day condition would not have been taken place.
Therefore Jesus shows the way in the following verse what should we do in
order to bring the light of life in the mankind.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying I am the light of
the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life. -John 8:12
The apostles and the early desciples had obeyed this order of Jesus. And
followed accordingly. Observe carefully the following verse which disclose the
fact that what was the actual meaning of the Gospel in their view.
And saying sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men
of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye
should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which
made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are
therein. -Acts 14:15
We can understand from the above verse that the disciples of Jesus had preached the Gospel, which show the transcendental abilities and powers of God, and that what type of actual relation should we have with Him. Also we cannot find any where in the history of early disciples of Jesus as to have preached such Gospel as is being preached by the Church. Importantly they had followed Jesus’way according to his orders.That is why the darkness, meaning Ignorance had been vanished completly from them and had been given the light of life,meaning the knowledge. If we wish that the same condition should prevail again in our society then we have to renounce the present baseless gospel preachings and should preahc ‘The Gospel of God’ which Jesus had preached .
