WHO IS GOD AND JESUS IN THE VIEW OF PAUL

WHO IS GOD AND JESUS? IN THE VIEW OF PAUL?

In the name of God most Merciful and Beneficent.
Jesus may be the most important person to the Christianity but even though there are so many defamations and conflict among the beliefs of them, the common ideal person for all of them is that Paul. In fact, the beliefs and doctrines and thought process what have been propounded by Paul in his period, the same are being followed as it is by the present days Christianity. That is why the renowned scientist Mr. Michel Hard the Christian space scientist has given the sixth rank out of the hundred eminent people who inspired the human beings in the history right from the beginning.

WHAT IS THE REASON TO TAKE THE EPISTLES OF PAUL AS A MESSURE TO CONFIRM WHO IS GOD AND JESSUS? ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE?

To know the appropriate answer for the question who is God and Jesus? In the view of Paul who is the common ideal person for the whole Christianity, can be regarded to be the most important for every believer. Because he testified himself that what he has preached about “God” and “Jesus” have been revealed him from the heaven by Jesus in miraculous way after he ascended to the heaven!
What the contention of the present days’ preachers is that- As a matter of Jesus is the mighty God himself in the heaven but he having been born as a normal human being with the natural weaknesses he lead his life in this world for some time, and he ascended to the heaven yet he transformed as a mighty God!”  But what for the then Apostle and Paul never have preached this type of beliefs? what the answer of so many preachers is that- In fact, Jesus was born as a human being with natural weaknesses in this world, that is why his teachings seems to be a common man, so that is why Apostle also preached about him as a normal person and there was one God beyond to him!
Now let us we take it for granted that Jesus has become as a mighty God after he lifted up to the heaven. But Paul who proclaimed that what the gospel he was preaching has been revealed to him from the heaven through Jesus himself, did he ever introduce Jesus to be mighty God? Or did he introduce him as one who was born and sent by God in the status of Messiah? This is because to draw the appropriate answer for the question that who is God and who is Jesus in the view of Paul, the fourteen epistles of Paul are taken to be an authentic measure.

As a matter of fact, there are the many of the beliefs prevailed in the Christianity towards the person of God and reality of Jesus. On one hand the present days preachers disgusting the theories of incarnation and Trinity which have been propagated in gentile communities ever since, on the hand they are propagation the same gentile doctrines i.e. Trinity and incarnation theories in another way among their respective believers of the Church. Moreover, what the intention of so many preachers is that- Paul has actually introduced Jesus as God along with Jehovah and some say that Paul has believed Jesus as one incarnate of God. Therefore Let us see quickly to whom Paul himself has introduced as God and what he declared the reality of Jesus.

TO WHOM PAUL DID INTRODUCE AS ONLY ONE GOD WHETHR TO JESUS OR TO JEHOVAH?
Is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, since there is one God… - Romans 3:29

There is no other God but one.  For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), yet for us there is one God, the Father… - 1 Corinthians 8:4-6
There are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 1 Corinthians 12:6
Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one. –Galatians 3:20

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. – 1 Timothy 2:5
Not only in the above verses, but we find Paul to have proclaimed in so many verses that “God is one in many of the Biblical verses.” According to this it is made clear that God is Jehovah in view of Paul but not Jesus as presumed by the so many preachers.

TO WHOM DID PAUL INTRODUCE AS IMMORTAL AND INVISIBLE GOD? WHETHER TO JESUS OR JEHOVAH?
Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man. –Romans 1:22

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. – 1Timothy 1:17

He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,  who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen. – 1 Timothy 6:15, 16

Thus Paul not only has given the testimony about Jehovah that “He is only one God” but he says that “He is immortal” “incorruptible” “invisible.” What noteworthy is that these statements were spoken by Paul after the ascension of Jesus from this world. If Paul has believed as Jehovah incarnated as Jesus then could he ever have proclaimed referring to Jehovah that He is “invisible” and “Immortal” God? Because Jesus was appeared to the people and according to the preachers of the Christianity he was died on the cross.

TO WHOM DID PAUL DECLARE AS “MY GOD?” TO JESUS OR TO JEHOVAH?
But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers… -Acts 24:14

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all… -Romans 1:8

I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus. – 1Corinthians 1:4

I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers. –Philemon 1:4

In this way Paul not only in the above verses but in many of the verses he says referring to Jehovah as “MY GOD” “OUR FATHER.” But he did not say anywhere as “My God was Jesus” as is being propagated by the so many preachers. This means it is made clear that in view of Paul Jesus is neither God nor incarnate of God.

WHO IS THE CREATOR OF GOD IN VIEW OF PAUL? WHETHER JESUS OR JEHOVAH?
So many in the present days Christianity are under the illusion that Paul believes that Jesus is the creator for this universe. Now let us see in the following verses that how far their imagination is true.
We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God (Jehovah), who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them. – Acts 14:14

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator (Jehovah), who is blessed forever. Amen. – Romans 1:24, 25

…and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God (Jehovah) who created all things… - Ephesians 3:9

According to the above statements of Paul it is made clear that Jesus is not the Creator but Jehovah is the Creator of all things in view of Paul.

TO WHOM DID PAUL DECLARE THAT HE WAS PRAYING WITH HIS SPIRIT? WHETHER TO JESUS OR JEHOVAH?
First, I thank my God (Jehovah) through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.  For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit… - Romans 1:8
I thank God (Jehovah), whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did. – 2 Timothy 1:3
So I worship the God (Jehovah) of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets… -Acts 24:14

For there stood by me this night an angel of the God  (Jehovah) to whom I belong and whom I serve…-Acts 27:23

Let us have grace, by which we may serve God (Jehovah) acceptably with reverence and godly fear… - Hebrews 12:28

In this way, Paul always proclaims referring to Jehovah that “I thank God (Jehovah), whom I serve.” But he not at all proclaimed as so, referring to Jesus imagining him to be God himself.

WHO IS THE WORTHY OF THANKS GIVING IN VIEW OF PAUL? WHETHER JESUS OR JEHOVAH?
And when he had said these things, he took bread and gave thanks to God in the presence of them all… -Acts 27:35

When Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage. – Acts 28:15

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all. – Romans 1:8

I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius… - 1 Corinthians 1:14

…while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. – 2 Corinthians 9:11

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you… Philippians 1:3

We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you. – Colossians 1:3

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers. 1 Thessalonians 1:3
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren. – 2 Thessalonians 1:3

But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation… - 2 Thessalonians 2:13

What the great evidence to say that Paul never have imagined that Jesus was God is that in so many places Paul has offered the thanks to Jehovah through Jesus but he did not thanked to Jesus believing him to be God himself.

IF JESUS WERE GOD IN VIEW OF PAUL, COULD HE EVER HAVE PROCLAIMED THAT JEHOVAH IS GOD OF JESUS?
…that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. –Romans 15:6

…the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. –Ephesians 1:17

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. – Ephesians 1:3

Not only Paul has proclaimed as “Jehovah is my God” but he declares that JEHOVAH IS THE GOD OF JESUS. When Jesus is having God upon him then it is no doubt to say that Jesus is also a creature of God. Therefore we also have to give the same testimony following the statements made by Paul as above, that Jehovah is not only our God but HE IS THE GOD OF JESUS ALSO.

WHAT IS THE ARGUMENT OF PAUL IN CASE OF JESUS? WHETHER HE IS GOD? OR CHRIST?
But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ. – Acts 9:22

This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ. –Acts 17:3

For he vigorously refuted the Jews publicly, showing from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ. – Acts 18:28

The way what Paul has adopted that how one should believe to Jesus can be regarded to be the ultimate measure for the now a days preachers. Because Paul used to argue with Jews about Jesus that he was Christ sent by God according to the prophecies. But he never have argued in anywhere according to the prophecies that Jesus is God himself or incarnate of God.

Thus according to the so far analysis made in the light of Bible verses, it is made clear that in view of Paul Jehovah is only one God and Jesus is Christ appointed by Him. But Jesus is neither God nor the incarnate of God in view of Paul. May God bestow to understand these points and give knowledge to accept these truths and lead our life according to these holy beliefs. –Amen.
