IS IT BETTER, NOT TO HAVE KNOWN THE WAY OF CHRIST!?

So far we have observed some warnings, which are helpful to lead the believers
towards morality and righteousness. Now let us see what is the final warning
in the following verse.

For it had been better for them not to have known the way
of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn
from they holy commandment delivered unto theim. -2 Peter 2 :21

It can not be exaggeration to say that the above verse is like a warning, which
hurls a Christian in great mentally disturbed state. And what does Peter, the chief
disciple of Jesus, say himself ? That it would have been much better for them not
to have come in to the way of Jesus rather than to turn away from it after having
known it fully. Therefore ponder over his warning how stern it is.



IS IT LIKE TURNING TOWARDS HIS OWN VOMIT!?

What would be the more vile act than becoming slave to the committing
the evil deeds such as adultery, bribery, drinking and immorality, after having
been baptised.Then observe the following verse how mean act is this.

But it is happen unto them according to the true proverb,
the dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that
was washed to her fallowing in the mire. -Peter 2:22

For whom all these warnings are? To them who have been saved or to them
who have not been saved? These warnings are absolutely for those who are saved.
But the strong opinion of the Christians is that these warnings ,which have been
mentioned in the Bible , are all only applicable to the non christians only but not
for them . That is why many Christians neither having fear of sin nor do they
repent.

O GOD I AM SINNER !

The Christians,who entangled in the sinful life, instead of trying to reform and
mend their sinful life just they are verbally praying with words such as ‘O! God I
am a Sinner! pardon me!!’ and they are getting satisfaction by mere prowencing
those words. It is not limited for once or twice but continuous process upto the
end of life. The main reason for this type of drawback is that our Christian scholars
do not preach to the people, all these points which we have explained in the
above lesson. And it is not exaggeration if we say that many Christian scholars
do not know even these verses as to have been mentioned in the Bible.

TENDENCY OF CHURCH TOWARDS
UNTENABLE PREACHING- WHY?

The reason seems to be no more than the fact that preaching of the church
has been transformed as a fetching business, and except some true dedicated
preachers, many made the church preaching as a source of their income. A business
man always attracts to the people with his boastings. Similarly these days our
preachers also speak charmingly with their church members, which makes them
cheerful. For example some preachers while conducting the Gospel meetings at
the adulteress women’s houses and pray for them at the end saying as ‘Oh !
Father! God! bless her and increase her income hundred folds ! Now the
question is what income should God increase ? Likewise they go on praying in
case of financiers and corrupt merchants and adulterate merchants- then how is it possible to bring the change in their conduct ?.

SINS ARE OF TWO TYPES !

The real preachers should know that there are two kinds of sins,which are
generelly committed by the people. The first kind of sins are those that are done
wilfully and intentionally and the second kind are those that are done by mistake
without intention but accidentally happened ignorantly. After repentance and taking
baptism, if the second categiry sins are committed they are likely to be forgiven.
But the first category of sins connot be pardoned.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have recieved the knowledge
of the truth, there remaneth no more sacrifice for sins. -Hebrews 10:26

WHAT WILL BE THE FINAL END OF SUCH SINNERS?

But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery
indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. -Hebrews 10:26

JESUS SAVES NOT ANY SINNER, BUT SAVES ONLY

THOSE WHO DESIST FROM COMMITTING SINS AND DO

RIGHTEOUS ACTS.
